    On the morning of 23 May 2026, our tour began with the first ride on the L\u00fcnersee cable car. We had our homemade Figl skis with us. Even during the ascent, the sunshine offered an impressive view of the still-calm L\u00fcnersee and the surrounding peaks of the R\u00e4tikon. The crisp air and the bright blue sky promised ideal conditions for the day.
    \nFrom L\u00fcnersee, a small group began the ascent towards Schesaplana. The route led across snow-covered slopes and through an impressive high-mountain landscape. With every metre of altitude gained, a sweeping panoramic view of the surrounding mountains opened up. A short break at the Totalh\u00fctte was a must before we reached the summit of Schesaplana after the final ascent; at 2,965 metres, it is the highest peak in the R\u00e4tikon. The view was breathtaking \u2013 stretching from Vorarlberg far into the Swiss Alps.
    \nAfter a short break, the descent on skis began. We made our way down across wide, snow-covered slopes towards L\u00fcnersee. The soft firn was ideal for skiing across the open terrain and made the descent a real highlight.
    \nBack at L\u00fcnersee, our families welcomed us with the children, who had been exploring the lake in the meantime. Afterwards, we reflected on the tour over a cool drink at the Douglass Hut.
