A palletizing robot to make work easier
The company KUKA has produced a worthwhile article together with our customer Rupp Food and our Christoph Muxel. Four years ago, we were able to implement an automation project for a customer in Hörbranz that produces pet food and foodstuffs. This freed the employees from the heavy lifting tasks and closed the gap in the staff shortage. The robot has its “grippers” full. 14 cartons per minute are stacked onto the Euro pallets fed in beforehand. If necessary, a thin intermediate layer is placed between the cartons. At the end of the process, the operator only has to remove the full pallets with the pallet truck and ensure that the robot does not run out of empty pallets.
